The Director, Tax is responsible for the Company's global tax function including tax compliance (US and international), tax planning and research, and financial reporting for income taxes with the assistance of the Senior Tax Manager in the UK. In addition, this role is responsible for the Company's transfer pricing - including policies, research, and calculations, and for transactional taxes such as sales and use tax in the US and VAT/GST/HST in rest of world as well as property taxes in the US. This role works closely with the finance and legal teams within the company and third-party service providers. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for completion of federal, international, and state corporate income tax returns, including related analysis, support, and oversight/coordination of third-party preparers. Primary responsibilities for US, FR, DE, IT, Canada, and India. Assistance/review role on UK, Poland, and Singapore as Senior Tax Manager is lead in those countries. Responsible for audits of federal and state income tax, state and local filings, and international (as applicable). Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting/accounting for income taxes in the US and international under IFRS and US GAAP, including preparation of the global tax provision under both standards, tax memos, audit support, and SOX compliance. Prepare semi-annual tax schedules for parent company financials. Responsible for transfer pricing calculations and arrangements. Liaison with management, legal and finance on tax issues and tax accounting issues. Calculate and monitor cash tax payments (primary US / secondary UK as Senior Tax Manager is lead in UK). Oversee the R&D Credit calculations in the US. (Senior Tax Manager prepares the UK RDEC claim in-house and Director, Tax reviews). Responsible for company's VAT compliance - including preparation, filing, workpapers, reconciliations, reviews, and oversight (specific responsibilities vary by jurisdiction). Primary responsibilities for FR SAS and the Italian Branch. Assistance/review role on UK, NL, IE, AU, OSS, LTD FR, LTD DE and LTD ES as Senior Tax Manager is lead on those returns. Responsible for the completion of all sales and use tax returns in the US, Seattle B&O tax, and OH CAT tax Prepare and file US property tax returns annually. GL reconciliations of all tax accounts and GL analyses for GL accounts with tax impacts (and preparation of JEs as needed). Other special projects and tax related research as needed/requested (i.e. new legislation, OECD pillars, permanent establishments, liquidations, acquisitions/mergers, etc.).
