Description

The Communications and Corporate Responsibility organization (CCR) is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and intuitive Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Global Stores, Ads, and Executive Communications.

This role is responsible for coordinating and managing complex calendars across multiple time zones, arranging both international and domestic travel, and organizing events and meetings. Additionally, the role involves maximizing team efficiency and productivity, serving as a primary point of contact between team members and leadership, and fostering effective communication and collaboration. The Executive Assistant will partner with leaders, business partners, stakeholders, and Executive Assistants across the company to achieve key deliverables.

You will thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment and have exceptional attention to detail. Experience in handling confidential information with discretion and the ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities are crucial. Preferred attributes include creativity and initiative in problem-solving and task management, and a relentless ability to take action quickly with the necessary details.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate large-scale events.

  • Complete expense reports proactively.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including both domestic and international.

  • Drive key team activities such as staff meetings, team morale events, and offsites.

  • Track and ensure the completion of key deliverables, and follow up on outstanding items.

  • Act as a liaison between the team and key stakeholders.

  • Handle confidential materials and information with discretion.

  • Develop and maintain new mechanisms to maximize team efficiency.

About the team

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

  • Experience working with large global teams

  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

  • High level of integrity and discretion

  • Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
