The Internal Talent Mobility Specialist is responsible for enhancing employee retention and development by facilitating the movement of talent within the organization. This position focuses on aligning employees’ career aspirations with available internal opportunities, ensuring that the workforce is optimally utilized while promoting growth and engagement. This role is focused on building the organization’s talent pipeline through internal mobility initiatives, all while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. By collaborating with various departments, the specialist ensures that employees have clear pathways to advance their careers, thereby fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Internal Career Pathing & Program Design (40%)

Design and implement internal mobility programs that provide clear pathways for career advancement. Collaborate with HR and leadership to create mentorship, training, and upskilling opportunities for employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

2. Employee Development & Succession Planning (40%)

Provide guidance to employees on career development opportunities within the organization. Support leadership in succession planning, identifying high-potential employees, and career development.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting (10%)

Track, analyze, and report on internal mobility trends, program success, and workforce needs. Use data to continuously improve internal mobility strategies and report findings to senior leadership.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication (10%)

Work closely with HR, leadership, and employees to ensure internal mobility programs are well-communicated and understood.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Career Development, Organizational Development, Learning & Development and Four to five years of relevant experience.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proven experience in roles such as talent development, employee engagement, HR, or internal mobility.
  2. Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects, such as mentoring programs or succession planning initiatives.
  3. Demonstrated experience in supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within talent development or HR programs.
  4. Background in providing career development coaching or consulting to employees, including navigating internal career paths.
  5. Experience analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and reporting findings to senior leadership.
  6. Ability to engage with employees, HR teams, and leadership, building trust and fostering collaboration.
  7. Skills in designing and implementing internal mobility, mentoring, or employee development programs.
  8. Ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term strategic goals, particularly when aligning employee aspirations with organizational needs.
  9. Skilled in providing guidance and support to employees at various career stages, particularly around internal mobility and career progression.
  10. Familiarity with HR information systems, talent management software, and data analysis tools.
  11. A natural ability to understand employee concerns, goals, and motivations, and offer supportive solutions.
  12. A commitment to working across departments and creating an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
  13. Comfort with change and ability to adapt internal mobility strategies to meet shifting organizational and industry needs.
  14. A self-starter who identifies opportunities for improvement and takes action to implement solutions.
  15. Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and how they can be embedded in internal mobility and employee development programs. 16.Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies for internal talent mobility.
  16. Competency in helping employees and managers navigate career transitions and internal mobility with minimal disruption.
