Maintenance Technician

Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of our properties. This includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work. You will maintain and repair building equipment, respond to emergencies, coordinate with external vendors, and keep detailed records of all maintenance activities. Additionally, you will implement preventive measures and work closely with the building management team.
Responsibilities
Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe environment for all occupants.
Maintain and repair building equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Be available for emergency repairs or issues that may arise outside of normal working hours.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure their work meets the building’s standards.
Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work for future reference and budgeting purposes.
Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid potential issues and ensure the longevity of the building’s systems and structures.
Work closely with the building management team to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
Stay updated with the latest best practices in building maintenance and apply them as necessary.
Essential Skills
Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Proficiency in maintaining and repairing building equipment and tools.
Ability to respond to emergency repairs or issues outside of normal working hours.
Experience in coordinating with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
Strong record-keeping skills for maintenance and repair work.
Ability to implement preventive maintenance measures.
Excellent team collaboration skills.
Willingness to continually learn and apply the latest best practices in building maintenance.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $70720.00/yr.
