Blue Origin LLC Production Associate (R39610) in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are currently looking for a reliable Production Associate to join our fabrication team. This position will involve assisting with inventory control and operating forklifts to facilitate the smooth movement of tooling and various manufacturing parts. Special Mentions Shift Available: Monday - Thursday (flexible on the hours) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with inventory management of tooling and diverse manufacturing parts Operating forklifts to handle materials and products with precision. Maintaining organized and accurate records of inventory Coordinating with manufacturing teams to support operational activities. Adhering to safety guidelines for material movement and forklift operation. Contributing to the cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds Collaborate effectively in diverse cross-functional teams. Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication. Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc. Operate a forklift in tight spaces. Maneuver forklift in confined spaces. Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 40lbs. Conduct repetitive tasks, including lifting items up to 40lbs. Ability to support scheduled work shifts, Extended hours, and weekends if/when vital. Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and extended hours when necessary. Strong organizational skills. Familiar with inventory systems. Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Understand clean-as-you-go techniques and the need for general cleanliness. Familiar with welding processes/ weld shop atmosphere. Demonstrated success as a "hands-on" doer and/or leader. Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with constantly evolving roles and responsibilities. Continuous improvement mentality.
