Projects and sub-projects may include implementation of new applications or functionalities of existing applications (such as Epic Benefits Engine Optimization, POS Collection Program)
Projects and sub-projects will feed into key strategic projects and critical initiatives, such as Compliance/Regulatory, Epic optimization
Projects will require the PM to work closely with the ERC departments to define project justification, identify project requirements, perform gap analysis, facilitate operational project changes, develop policies and procedures, and help prepare for executive communication DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine Enterprise Revenue Cycle (ERC) is made up of numerous shared services departments and is accountable for the Revenue Cycle functions of UWMC and HMC with close collaboration with Finance and Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS) PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead project initiation and planning phases of projects
Actively identify manage project issues and risks
Manage scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects
Communications, customer relationships, and progress/status reporting
Manage execution of projects within standard project framework
Manage implementation and post-implementation closeout for assigned projects
Manage assigned project staff in execution of project tasks
Manage vendor execution and deliverable
Contribute to ERC project management standards, culture, and activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a health-care oriented profession, a business-related field, or other disciplines that demonstrate analytical or communications abilities
Minimum four years of experience working on process improvement or vendor solution implementation projects
Minimum four years managing project work within an established standard project lifecycle framework
Minimum four years of experience in a customer-facing role
Minimum four years proven experience in a project leadership role with progressively complicated projects
