Under the supervision of the Recreational Therapy Supervisor, the Recreation Assistant II facilitates evidence-based recreational activities at Legacy House for the day center and assisted living programs. Additionally, this role supports virtual day center activities and virtual or in-person community Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance classes as instructor, interpreter, and/or telehealth education specialist. Outside of group facilitation, this role provides support for the PACE and ADS day center and works closely with the Recreational Therapists for participant care coordination.

Pay Range: $21.20 - $31.04 

Education - High school graduated diploma and/or experience working in a health care setting.  Experience - Minimum of one (1) year experience working with frail and elderly population. Other Requirement(s) - Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or other Asian/Pacific Islander language. CPR/First Aid Certification Required. TJQMBB instructor certification preferred, or be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
