We are seeking an analytical, creative, and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. You will drive analysis, process improvement, and reporting to contribute towards financial and programmatic decisions that directly impact the history of space exploration. The individual should possess excellent financial acumen and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed, efficiency, and automation of our finance operations by supporting the timely delivery and transparency of data to support the company's business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Own the financial planning and analysis function for the In-Space Systems business unit
Lead process improvement initiatives related to finance
Assist the business unit Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with other business unit-specific strategic initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to collect, document, and communicate business requirements to solve ambiguous and sophisticated issues, ensuring a detailed approach to all critical issues
Creation of content and ability to present data to support program, financial, and operations reviews
Work with stakeholders and domain specialists to generate financial data reporting to facilitate key business decisions
Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly financial dashboards and reporting that will support our business unit's financial needs
Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
Stay in sync with stated deadlines and ensure appropriate actions are driven by business function forecasts.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or other analytical field
8+ years of experience in business or data analysis with a finance focus
Intermediate experience with data mining across diverse data sets and using SQL
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot)
Excellent written communication and presentation skills and ability to converse with non-technical stakeholders
Highly skilled collaborator and influencer capable of interacting with multiple stakeholders and team members.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is
$125,227.50---$192,015.50 USD
