We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Sediment Remediation Engineer or Scientist to join our Sediment Remediation and Waterfront Redevelopment practice in our Pacific Northwest Branch with offices in Seattle, WA, or other Geosyntec Branches. This role will involve managing people and projects, ensuring technical excellence, and providing expertise on sediment remediation. It is ideal for a talented and highly experienced individual who is interested in being a leader and contributing to innovative and challenging projects, including the financial and technical evaluation, design, permitting, and construction stages. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You may also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and development, and mentoring tasks. Some of the key responsibilities may include: Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management; Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remediation design plans; Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses; Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams; Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams; Build a portfolio of clients by winning new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and executing a personal business development plan; Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders; Mentor, guide, and motivate early career staff assigned in the areas
