The ABPL Marketing team is looking for a talented, self-directed marketing leader to efficiently scale and support global demand generation programs for the lending team in North America (NA). The Senior Partner Marketing Manager will contribute to define the B2B marketing strategies to drive product awareness and acquisition of financing products from our third-party lenders (banks and FinTechs), manage on-going customer engagement, and work with program managers and other stakeholders on managing the relationship with third-party lenders.

This Sr. Partner Marketing Manager will make contribution to the planning and execution of the NA marketing roadmap for lending across digital and traditional marketing channels and will champion marketing programs from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, analytical, detailed oriented, and data driven, with experience delivering high-performing marketing programs. This is a highly visible role and this marketer will have opportunities to regularly present program plans, results, and insights to senior leadership teams.

This role is based in Seattle and part of the global lending marketing team. Some international travel may be required to meet with stakeholders or attend events.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage the marketing plans, execution of acquisition and demand generation programs, and budget supporting third-party lenders; perform quarterly marketing performance reviews with third-party lenders.

• Execute global marketing campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of NA lending products.

• Build robust test and learn plans to optimize online CX to drive new customer adoption and engagement.

• Analyze performance of marketing channels and campaigns across the market, customer segment and lifecycle stages, seeking ways to improve performance and deliver insights to key stakeholders.

• Contribute to develop go-to-market strategies with partner managers and define the on-going marketing roadmap for NA, in collaboration with other marketers across the globe, including Amazon Selling Partner Services, to meet WW Amazon Lending program goals.

• Consult and partner with market- and UX-research for user insights to impact marketing programs and collaborate with internal teams across businesses and functions to deliver results.

• Collaborate with global marketing and PR teams to bring lending into customer messaging and media strategies.

• Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to leadership both verbally and in writing.

About the team

The Amazon B2B Payments & Lending Marketing team focuses on generating awareness, driving adoption, and encouraging usage of payment, invoicing, and financing products, and also supports the education of customers on product/features usage in conjunction with other relevant B2B features and tools that improve their user experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing and/or demand-gen marketing

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to interpret data and metrics to create marketing strategies that activate customers throughout their lifecycle

  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation and ability to create marketing programs to meet customer needs

  • Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically in ambiguous situations

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience and/or understanding of B2B marketing best practices

  • Experience with lending, payments and/or financial services marketing

  • High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to deliver results

  • Ability and willingness to operate autonomously, roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done; general manager / owner mentality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
