Description
Stores Economics and Science (SEAS) is an interdisciplinary science and engineering team in Amazon's Stores organization, applying expertise in science and engineering to help solve some of Store's most salient problems. We pursue this mission by leveraging frontier science; partnering across organizations, and learning from the tools, experience, and perspective of others. We scale by solving problems, first in the small to prove concepts, and then in the large by building scalable solutions.
Key job responsibilities
The Sr. Product Manager Technical is responsible for:
-Owning product features and roadmap for their area of responsibility, generating artifacts like PR FAQs, Product Roadmaps, and BRDs
-Partnering with stakeholders both internal and external to SEAS to ensure on time and on scope delivery of our products
-Demonstrating thought leadership in the application of science and economics to our most pressing and strategic business opportunities
-Driving clarity and alignment in ambiguous problem spaces across economists, scientists, engineers, product managers, both within SEAS and with our external partners
-Managing engagement and communications with stakeholders across the Stores organization
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
