Our team is looking for a process-focused, organized, and data- and timeline-driven Senior Program Manager to lead Operations for the Homepage. This is a highly visible, high impact role that requires sound judgment, high levels of ownership, bias for action, and the ability to execute independently and proactively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence are also required.

Key job responsibilities

  • Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements and durable mechanisms to optimize Homepage performance management and measurement, manage inbound communications from key partner teams and senior leadership, and ensure operational readiness for key initiatives and events * Reporting on key inputs and outputs and process improvements to leadership teams

  • Managing new programs, including assigning and load balancing team projects

  • Leading and helping resolve leadership escalations and responses (most often through or with heavy support from team members)

A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of organizing, mobilizing, and motivating teams and making short and long-term operational improvements within a fast-paced environment. This will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of organization, and an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. We're also looking for demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and proposed improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • 4+ years of leading large complex programs experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
