A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Supervisor, the Sr Marketing Specialist is expected to develop and execute an effective marketing strategy to drive business growth and identify a new opportunity to expand the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business to become market leader in South Korea.
To be successful in this role, you must have good business acumen in selling and/or promoting medical devices, have a thorough understanding of the Cardiac Rhythm Management market, and have a passion to initiate a marketing program. You’ll work in collaboration with key stakeholders to create synergy and contribute to reinforcing inclusive working culture.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales target and gain market share, set up marketing plan for product promotion strategy to drive product growth and market expansion
Manage product mix, prepare new product launch timely cooperation with internal stakeholders such as regulatory and reimbursement counterpart
Have good knowledge about product benefit and well understanding on market
Continue to drive scientific and evidence-based sales, manage key opinion leaders in nationwide and have good relationship with them and collect more market intelligence
Show good practice and increase level of product knowledge of sales reps and distributors, give them periodical product training and market update
Achieve EBIT target, sharp on expense spending and planning which are related marketing activities
Ensure Medtronic quality standards are maintained with respect to its procedures, policies, operations and customer contact
Close communication with sales, distributors and customers when we have change or update on product related information or market information. If it is needed public communication, manage proper action to be taken
Proven knowledge and experience about the process of RA, QA and Reimbursement
Attend relevant conferences, seminars and workshops to demonstrate Medtronic products or therapies and organize product relevant workshop and seminars to show Medtronic leadership
To develop leadership in product group as well as sales team with continuously striving for personal development
Must-Have
Completed Bachelor's degree qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing or sales in the medical devices industry
Strong and on-time execution focusses with stakeholders including Sales teams in a dynamic environment with an ability to be agile
Good presentation and effective verbal and written English and Korean communication skills
Computer and MS Office proficient
