Job Title: Construction Helper $17-20hr (Weekly Pay)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Technician to join our team. This role involves working on residential new construction sites, primarily focusing on the installation of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, have reliable transportation, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading tools and materials at the construction site.
Measuring distances with a tape measure.
Using hand and power tools.
Fabricating or altering parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
Maintaining personal and company tools and equipment.
Utilizing mastic on ductwork.
Installing Flex Duct/Register Boots in building attics.
Performing other related tasks as required.
Essential Skills
Previous outdoor work experience and comfortability in all weather conditions.
Reliability and ability to drive directly to job sites each day.
Ability to use a tape measure and learn quickly to use one (non-negotiable).
Willingness to learn construction skills and retain knowledge about HVAC.
Hands-on mechanical inclination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Any construction experience is preferred, but not required.
Any relevant certifications are preferred, but not required.
Ability to take direction well from Project Managers.
Able to work professionally with a crew on site.

Work Environment
This role involves working on a construction site every day without reporting to an office. You will be part of a crew of 4-6 people. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with optional Saturdays. Overtime is always offered for installers. Contractors must wear their own work boots and appropriate clothing. Steel toes are not required. All other PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, glasses, hearing protection) will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
