Now Hiring: Caregivers in Shamokin, PA
Home Helpers, a leading non-medical home care agency in Northeast PA, is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to assist clients in Shamokin for first and second shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
Caregivers will provide essential in-home support, including:
Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as needed
Providing medication reminders
Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
Accompanying clients on Rabbit Transit for medical appointments
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred (but not required)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical health to meet caregiving demands
Empathy and compassion for individuals who are ill, injured, or frail
Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation required
