= Objective =

We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Global Process Owner (GPO) for QA/QC & NCM to lead and optimize our global (product) quality assurance/control & NCM processes within our dedicated Process Excellence Team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in QA/QC, NCM, Supply Chain / Operations, process improvement and leadership. As the GPO for QA/QC & NCM you will play a pivotal role in shaping and ensuring our organization's operational efficiency, quality assurance processes, highest product quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements while leading a community of regional and local business process experts.

= Key Responsibilities =

• Process Ownership: Assume complete ownership of the QA/QC & NCM processes, encompassing quality assurance and control, during manufacturing and for final products, supply chain integration, and interfaces to (production) planning, as well as all processes related to Non-Conformance management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

• Global Standardization: Collaborate with global, regional and local teams and stakeholders to establish and ensure the implementation of global standards, best practices, and methodologies. Drive consistency in processes across different regions and business units.

• Process Optimization: Continuously assess the processes to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains. Lead process redesign initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that QA/QC & NCM activities are closely aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and manufacturing, regulatory and market dynamics. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and communicate quality strategies, KPIs, and success metrics.

• Quality and Compliance: Develop and implement control measures, compliance programs, and sustainability initiatives within the process areas. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

• Technology Integration: Partner with IT teams to leverage advanced technologies, automation solutions, and data analytics. Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance quality assurance and control capabilities and visibility. Ensure long-term effective implementation of digital initiatives fully assisted by the relevant support teams.

• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes. Regularly provide performance insights to senior management and stakeholders.

• Community Leadership: Lead and mentor a community of global, regional and local business process experts within the Process Excellence Team. Provide guidance, support, and expertise to enhance QA/QC & NCM capabilities across the organization. Serve as the primary point of contact for QA/QC & NCM process related inquiries.

• Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with process improvements, technology implementations, and sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and tools.

• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends, emerging best practices, and sustainable manufacturing approaches. Integrate innovative approaches to enhance QA/QC & NCM capabilities.

• Talent Development: Mentor and guide a team of process experts within the Process Excellence Community (PEC). Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skill sets and capabilities.

• Main interface to GB and GD Process Owner community: Be the main contact person for all the existing process owners of GB and GD to ensure that AP specific process requirements and needs are fulfilled.

= Job Requirements =

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Agro Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Management, Non-Conformance Management, QA/QC operations in manufacturing environments and working knowledge of global operations, process improvement initiatives, and leadership.

• In depth understanding of Agro industry standards and protocols.

• Experience in different parts of the business (CP and Seeds) is a plus.

• Process Excellence: Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and optimizing processes for global organizations.

• Leadership: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and detail-oriented approach to decision-making.

• Change Agent: Demonstrated experience in driving change management efforts and managing stakeholders across various organizational levels.

• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced QA/QC technologies, automation solutions, and data analytics. Ability to leverage technology for process enhancements.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Global Perspective: Understanding of global QA/QC & NCM operations, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.
