The Coca-Cola Company Senior Manager, Tech lead in Shanghai, China

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

  • The Martech full stack tech, GC&M (Greater China & Mongolia) is primarily expected to design, supervise, and provide technical guidance over the solution architecture and engineering/tech excellence in building and operating scalable platform in the area like mini programs, consumer engagement platform, campaign/promotion development, loyalty platforms, DTC, Interface/APIs and other development.

  • The tech lead will collaborate with business and senior technology associates to play a critical role in continuously enhancing and rolling out solutions that allows marketers/business users to efficiently do consumer engagements, loyalty operations, personalization and analytics at scale utilizing the right technologies in a cost-effective manner.

The position would report to the Lead of GC&M MarTech, and closely work with product leads, data analyst, data architect, cloud arch and cyber security analyst.

The role is part of the Coca Cola company's digital and technology services team and serves the GC&M region. The mission of the MarTech domain is to analytically enable & automate brand building operations to build a competitive advantage for Coca-Cola Marketers in GC&M OU.

Key Results

  • Technically and architectural excellence of ensuring cross systems design that meets criteria of high quality, cost, time-to-deliver and reusability via tech operations from design, build, test, operate.

  • Continue to iterate overall architecture of system performance and lifetime cycle to simplify system flows, resolve pain points across systems and optimization.

  • Design and be responsible of common development frameworks and standards for all core systems (mini programs, engagement stack, loyalty stack, ecommerce etc.)

  • Compliance with company and industry best practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the top priority MarTech data projects all the way from project initiation, chartering, enrolling team members, execution, and closure.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives, ensuring solutions meet these needs.

  • Define the overall structure of systems, including selecting the appropriate technology stack and defining how different components interact.

  • Design holistic and scalable solutions that integrate smoothly with existing systems and infrastructure.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to multiple vendors throughout the implementation phase and review system domains and technical designs and procedures.

  • Ensure that architectural decisions and solutions are implemented according to the agreed design and best practices.

  • Pinpoint, analyze and resolve system defects and improve ways of workings, technology.

  • Document processes and research, standards, guidelines, for teams utilizing the solutions.

  • Bring new and emerging technology as well as best practices from industry.

Job Requirements

Education

  • University Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or related field.

Related Work Experience

  • 8years of work experiences in design, implementation, or consulting in architecture of technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

  • 5years of relevant experience in front end application building and micro services, designing & implementing API/EDI integration solutions to support consumer facing experiences and solve business problems.

  • 5years of experience in consumer engagement, retail sales, eCommerce, digital media in CPG/Retail industry relevant projects.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of TOGAF architecture principles, software architecture, cloud computing, software development life cycle (SDLC), and current technology landscapes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design comprehensive solutions that address complex business needs.

  • Very well understanding micro services, cloud engineering, application monitoring, logs (Azure China, AWS, Ali Cloud etc.).

  • With rich experience in Java architectural design, proficient in programming, design patterns, and component technology, and has an in-depth understanding of Redis design, design patterns, and message queuing.

  • Experiences in security reviews and MLPS.

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin. Communication skills in English will be hugely advantageous.
