Summary:
Meta quality team is looking for a supplier quality engineer to be responsible for overall Antenna Quality and manufacturing process development within the supply chain. This role is ideal for a motivated applicant that is self-driven, enjoys working in a fast-paced development environment, and has a strong quality or manufacturing engineering background.

Supplier Quality Engineer, Antenna Responsibilities:
Identify equipment, fixture, and tooling needs and drive implementation efforts to qualify and optimize the manufacturing process.
Establish quality and process control plans at vendors for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered.
Responsible for conducting Design/Process FMEA, Failure analysis, PPAP, and Statistical Process Control.
Knowledgeable in conducting DOEs, Line qualification, Machine Buy-off, Cycle Time & UPH studies, and Automation.
The SQE will work closely with the engineering team to understand product design intent and then be a major part of supplier identification and selection.
Develop and institutionalize our vendor and supplier selection process.
Evaluate prospective vendors for process capability based on project needs.
Publish concise reports on module yield performance, specification convergence status
Drive Failure analysis, Corrective Action implementation plan, and yield bridge to mass production.
Responsible for supplier quality management with a focus on assessing supplier production and quality controls, evaluating supplier readiness, and adherence to module quality plan.
Partner with Engineering to define product acceptance plans based on PRD.
Collaborate with Suppliers and Engineering teams in assessing, proposing, and developing process technologies based on project requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree in RF, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
8+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering in consumer electronics with relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of different kind of antenna manufacturing processes with an understanding of equipment, Carrier Materials, and methodologies commonly used in the industry.
Experience with LDS plating process, chemical solution and plating quality control.
Experience with injection molding tooling buy-off and molding part quality issue fixing.
Understand the FPC/PCB stack up and familiar with FPC/PCB process for antenna pattern manufacturing.
Hands-on experience on Antenna test fixture design, qualification and test curve correlation.
Understand how to define the reliability test plan to do quality risk assessment for different kind of antenna category.
Hands-on experience on Wifi/Bluetooth test at system level and have the capability to identify the root cause to fix the failure.
Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, GR&R, DoE, metrology, GD&T, and Correlation studies.
Experience with doing data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or JMP.
Good at identifying risk and developing solid plans to mitigate
Good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% to global locations.

RF design and test experience is preferred.
Project management experience and proven track record of creative problem-solving in an unambiguous environment.
