Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Manager of Quality Assurance in SHELTON, Connecticut. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring the adherence to ISO 9001 and other Quality Assurance Standards in a lab environment.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage two Quality Assurance Specialists to ensure effective quality controls.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Ensure the effective functioning of Quality Assurance operations within a lab/testing environment.
• Manage and resolve any quality-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in Quality Assurance practices within the team.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all Quality Assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance Standards across all operations.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of Quality Assurance practices and procedures.
• Facilitate training and development for team members on Quality Assurance protocols and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the uniform application of Quality Assurance Standards. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Demonstrated proficiency in ISO 9001 is mandatory
• Extensive knowledge and application of Quality Assurance practices and principles is required
• Familiarity with various Quality Assurance environments is essential
• Must have a deep understanding of Quality Assurance standards and their implementation
• Experience in managing and leading Quality Assurance teams is required
