What you’ll do:

  • Supervises the Project and/or Program Managers assigned to the global projects. Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of strategic objectives and program requirements.

  • Manages financial goal of Global NPI projects. Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.

  • Facilitates the implementation of program management processes at the global CPS ES.

  • Provides overall CPS APAC global project interface with senior leadership and the customers. Improve organization responsiveness to market requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and commitments internal to the business.

  • Maintain metrics for programs and contracts, quality, technical performance and delivery through all of the PROLaunch phases.

  • Manages all risks and requirements of the program through effective planning, controlling, integrating all projects and programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.

  • Provides periodic program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to program milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional, group and sector levels.

  • Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators.

  • Coordinates and monitors program technical personnel across multiple sites."

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, Engineering or Business degree preferred

  • 10-15 years experiences in Project Management, or Engineering and/or Product Development Management

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management"

  • Developing to fully demonstrating in Project Management methodologies, processes and tools

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) required

  • Experience managing projects with: 1) components / subsystems scope of responsibility, 2) Low to moderate customer/business risk, 3) Low to moderate NRE budgets

  • Must be capable of leading effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global customers and team members."

  • Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT).

  • Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer

  • Experienced in Risk Management

  • Good analytical skills and business acumen

  • Must be capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Division Leadership Team’s review and approval that will achieve desired customer outcomes.

  • Result-orientation and process streamlining

  • Lessons learning and continual improvements sense
