Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Application Development Project Manager/Lead located in Shoreview, Minnesota. The role involves leading system integration projects and contributing to the development of an Order Management application in a technical delivery capacity within the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead System Integration projects and Web applications integrated with ERP or Order Management applications using middleware tools like Informatica/MuleSoft.
• Contribute to all phases of software development for the Order Management application.
• Engage effectively with business teams, Business System Analysts, Developers, testers, and the extended team to ensure optimal value delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as requirement prioritization, Sprint/ Release planning, Back log grooming, Daily standup, and retrospective.
• Utilize Azure DevOps or similar tools to track user stories, development and testing tasks, bugs, and keep dashboards current for the Sprint.
• Manage risks and issues proactively, making timely decisions.
• Ensure adherence to software development processes including requirement reviews, design review, code review, test case review, and documentation creation.
• Monitor, Measure, and Report Progress of the team.
• Foster good relationships between Product team and business as well as others outside the team and navigate through the organization.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical skills and team player capabilities.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, building trust and relationships, managing matrixed teams, bridging communication gaps, resolving conflicts, and influencing stakeholders.
• Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, organization, and detail-orientation. Requirements • Proven experience in application development project management or leadership roles for at least seven years
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Understanding of order management systems and processes
• Familiarity with MuleSoft for designing, building, and managing APIs and integrations
• Proficiency in Informatica data integration tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control, reporting, requirements management, project management, and automated builds
• Excellent team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
