Fiserv Lead IT Services Administrator in Short Hills, New Jersey

Essential Job Responsibilities :

Lead technical support initiatives of Fiserv hosted core banking applications and their surrounds. Perform in depth performance analysis on internal and client-side systems of hosted Fiserv products Perform in depth network analysis of WAN and LAN connections to Fiserv core applications Perform database analysis for optimization of batch processing (Oracle) Perform architectural and feasibility review of outsourced client solutions to ensure client expectations are met. Review Acceptance test results of onboarding clients to Fiserv hosted solution for proper functionality and performance SLAs. Interact with client technical staff to assist in troubleshooting efforts. Maintain a working knowledge of how Fiserv outsourced applications operate, how they interact with one another, familiarity of the organization to contact the appropriate individual to triage issues Maintain ‘best practices” change control procedures to ensure preauthorization and accurate record keeping for all application level changes. Perform advanced support on escalated service call requests. Attend various product meetings to discuss status of new client installations, provide timelines as they pertain to new release installations, and access client requests. Focus on continuous improvement through automation, re-engineering and streamlining to reduce Troubleshoot issues for applications by reviewing application logs, IIS logs, Event logs. Diagnose performance issues by reviewing network packet captures, using WireShark and TCPdump Perform advanced research and testing in order to resolve production related incidents. Use / configuration of enterprise tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace and Moogsoft Experience with baseline performance transaction testing Review service and performance compliance to documented standards. Performs other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Experience in Network troubleshooting

  • Experience in Oracle queries and SQL scripting

  • Experience in Incident, Problem & change management

  • Handled Performance Tuning and Optimization with strong analytical troubleshooting skills for quick issue resolution in mission-critical environments

  • Ability to work on complex technical issues

  • SQL, PL/SQL, and Hyperion SQR Production Reporting

  • Client engagement
