Marketing Manager - Asia

We are seeking a talented and motivated Asia marketing manager to join our international marketing team. With new leadership in place both in Asia and within the marketing organisation, now is an exciting time to join Sedgwick. You will play a crucial role in planning and overseeing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to continue to grow and promote our nine offices across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, and be able to build strong relationships across a wide range of countries and cultures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing and executing strategic marketing plans both across Asia and within the nine offices to achieve annual growth goals.

  • Work with our in-house agency (comprised of design, video and professional writing experts) to develop high-impact campaigns. Report campaign and content results to leaders and other stakeholders.

  • Work with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership and content (eg blogs) to support and promote our brand in Asia.

  • Create and execute marketing projects, with a heavy focus on writing, editing and strategic direction.

  • Manage large scale events from venue searching and contracting through to delivery, effectively managing relationships throughout with internal stakeholders and external agency and vendor partners. This includes our own events and also organising our attendance at leading industry events and conferences.

  • Manage our series of client webinars, working to identify speakers, draft/edit invitations, send out online invites and assess effectiveness using data analytics.

  • Provide content for the Asia company website, including content updates, and user experience enhancements – informed by data insights.

  • Support ad hoc general marketing requests including writing and editing event assets, video scripts, campaign, event and social assets.

  • Collaborate with internal production teams to create marketing collateral, such as sales materials, presentations, company flyers and brochures.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of Sedgwick’s solutions.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • A strong track record of delivering key marketing projects and plans.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams (copy, design, digital).

  • Creativity to help develop engaging marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audiences across Asia.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing role.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; acts with a sense of urgency.

  • Experience with the full range of marketing techniques and tools.

  • Strong English language skills and ability to write effectively. Mandarin capability would be desirable (but not a prerequisite for this role).

  • Excellent attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work.

  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.

  • Availability to attend occasional events and conferences outside of regular working hours.
