As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, control, coordinate and execute overall prototype planning and scheduling throughout Frontend and Backend operation for prioritized run for meeting customer’s required shipment.

  • Lead, organize and supervise the working team to achieve organizational goal for on time delivery of prototype sample.

  • Work on cross functional team with various stakeholder or department (Product Development, Technology Department, Production and Engineering, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Product Technology and Quality, Information Technology, Customer Service, Product Marketing and etc.) on prototype run related issues, customer sampling and on time delivery for sample.

  • Perform sample throughput time analysis to support strategic planning of sample management.

  • Identify area for improvement and desired outcome to improve throughput time to market that is consistent with the vision and mission of the company.

  • Guide the working team at the operational level to work together as one, drive and improve speed, execution to deliver samples faster to meet customer demand.

  • Develop, update, implement and evaluate departmental work instruction and operational procedure and maintain the documentation
