Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison for the company with the airworthiness authorities or external body on matters relating to the company’s quality management system.

  • Maintain a liaison with the relevant authorities & customer on matters affecting the company approvals & all work affecting quality.

  • Review & revise Regulatory requirements, Company Policy, Exposition Document & Procedures including the scope of work & capability list periodically.

  • Review process metrics & monitor process performance, as well as drive quality initiatives.

  • Implements a quality audit system to review work activities which have an influence on the quality of the product and/or service.

  • Reports performances of the quality system to the management for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.

  • Investigate quality issues and mistake proofing activates.

  • Conduct System, product and process audits to ensure compliance with requirements.

  • Review the authorisation of certification on a yearly basis to determine the competency of technical personnel and inspectors.

  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Manager Quality Assurance.

Requirements

  • Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 7 years of aviation experience or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of Airworthiness Requirements such as FAR 145, SAR 145, EASA 145 & CCAR 145, is a must.

  • Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Preferably to pass CAAS paper L11 or L12 or M10.

  • Experience in auditing system would be an added advantage.

  • Highly motivated, results orientated, analytical and communication skills.
