Responsibilities
Act as the liaison for the company with the airworthiness authorities or external body on matters relating to the company’s quality management system.
Maintain a liaison with the relevant authorities & customer on matters affecting the company approvals & all work affecting quality.
Review & revise Regulatory requirements, Company Policy, Exposition Document & Procedures including the scope of work & capability list periodically.
Review process metrics & monitor process performance, as well as drive quality initiatives.
Implements a quality audit system to review work activities which have an influence on the quality of the product and/or service.
Reports performances of the quality system to the management for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
Investigate quality issues and mistake proofing activates.
Conduct System, product and process audits to ensure compliance with requirements.
Review the authorisation of certification on a yearly basis to determine the competency of technical personnel and inspectors.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Manager Quality Assurance.
Requirements
Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 7 years of aviation experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of Airworthiness Requirements such as FAR 145, SAR 145, EASA 145 & CCAR 145, is a must.
Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferably to pass CAAS paper L11 or L12 or M10.
Experience in auditing system would be an added advantage.
Highly motivated, results orientated, analytical and communication skills.
