Services Business Development Manager Power Distribution

Your main responsibility is to ensure that Eaton meets the agreed budget targets for service sales for power distribution Services focusing primarily in the UK.

You will explore the markets on Eaton's installed base low voltage and medium Voltage products, create business plan and establish service sales in person. Working closely with UK service sales, country sales, EMEA service product management and EMEA centre of competence for power distribution services, securing best available solutions to the customers.

You will also cooperate closely with service operations giving input to resource planning, to ensure profitability of delivered services, well-coordinated service delivery and customer satisfaction as well as lead generation from the field. Work requires travelling 50-100 days a year.

Essential Functions:

  • Service Sales Contributes to the UK and country-specific service plan to ensure growth and profitability in line with Eaton's overall strategic goals.

  • Analysis of market data and customer needs in order to align with the EMEA service sales strategy

  • Maintaining and building relations with important internal and external stakeholders, customers, local sales organizations & partners

  • Keeps good customer contacts and build closer relation with key accounts in order to further develop the position in the market.

  • Business Development

  • Negotiates and influence resulting in contracts and agreements.

  • Collaborates with other sales within the organization to enable business opportunities.

  • Initiates, develops and implements sales orientated customer campaigns and other marketing activities.

  • Focus on developing and bringing new offering into the markets and winning new customers.

  • Enables internal collaborations resulting in synergy sales and new business.

  • Acts as a role model in line with Eaton ethical standards of conduct.

Experience Required

  • Educated at Bachelors’ degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical Engineering or other relevant education and experience.

  • Experience in Service sales or business development at least 2-3 years or other relevant sales experience

Skills:

  • Knowledge of power distribution (low voltage & medium voltage), electrical services and power distribution products

  • Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong Time Management
