Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directs coordinators with daily duties and tasks.

  • Assists supervisor in resolving discrepancies between production and Plasma Operations concerning inventory and other problems encountered.

  • Prepares all documents and physical assignments necessary for shift to perform efficiently and productively on a daily basis.

  • Trains Plasma Operations employees on SOP and processes. Performs qualification assessments.

  • Cross trains and assists with back up when necessary.

  • Must communicate daily activities, issues and solutions effectively using verbal and electronic means

  • Assist supervisor in deviation investigations

  • Complies with SOPs, cGMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures.

  • Provides leadership to enhance performance of department and take charge in the absence of the supervisor.

  • Requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.

  • Proficient in Plasma Operations management systems and pc environments.

  • Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs.

  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

  • Exposure to warehousing and manufacturing areas at +5°C including storage freezer at–20°C and exposure to human blood plasma.

  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

Education and/or experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, AA preferred.

  • 3-5 years of Plasma Operations and/or technical office experience.

  • Has lead teams of at least 5 people in a process or project role.
