As a Global Operations Business Intelligence intern, you will join a dynamic global operations team, working alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business intelligence, emerging technologies, product management and operational efficiency. You will be exposed to the entire lifecycle of operations and analytics contributing to meaningful business outcomes. This internship offers a valuable insight into the operational backbone of a large, global organization, helping you develop foundational skills necessary to succeed in this industry.
Essential Functions:
Assist processes supporting and managing our development pipeline using agile/scrum principles.
Understand the value of our tools and processes to translate insights into clear documentation, training, and communications.
Gain familiarity to a wide range of key industry leading Resource and Financial Planner systems including but not limited to Salesforce CRM and PSA, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Workday.
Perform and present ad-hoc analysis on data covering much of the operational business cycle.
Contribute to data quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability of our data.
Support in the development and maintenance of dashboards, data pipelines, automations, and other business intelligence tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional projects, (with teams such as Commercial Operations and Resource Management) gaining experience to broader business operations.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or a related field with a strong interest in business operations and data-driven decision-making.
Strong interest in data with the ability to turn it into actionable insights.
Interest in Scrum, project management and quality compliance processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into clear business recommendations. (Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must)
Exceptional problem-solving with a keen eye for detail and the ability to evaluate problems and processes in a holistic manner.
Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
Basic understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools (Spotfire, Power BI, SQL, Data warehousing) desired but not essential.
