Position Description:

The Sr Finance Analyst plays a key role in providing strategic financial analysis and influencing business decisions on Capital investments and Digital Transformation in One Operations.

  • Gathers and interprets data to deliver actionable insights while considering a broad range of interdependent issues.

  • Foster effective collaboration and communication across various finance and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve organizational goals.

  • Acts as a change agent to proactively drive process improvements and facilitate the development of reporting tools that adapt to evolving business needs.

  • Has a solid understanding of financial data and ensures the integrity of financial reporting in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Support MBS (Master Business Strategy) Capital investments activities and process, as well as overseeing capital investment planning, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of driving discussions and challenging projects to ensure they contribute to value creation, process improvements, and waste elimination. Furthermore, offer actionable insights regarding Capital investment to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Assists in developing and strengthening financial project justifications.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of Capital Investment requests and proposals to ensure alignment with strategic objectives to maximize value creation.

  • Lead and drive discussions, preparation, and finalization of Post Project Evaluation (PPE) and Key Leading Indicators (KLI).

  • Ensures the integrity of Capital and NAS (Nestlé Accounting Standards) CAPEX Guidelines are followed.

  • Training and onboarding programs focused on Capital Investment to enhance financial acumen across the organization.

  • Prepares reporting and analysis of CAPEX and activities related through monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.

Skills:

  • Exhibits solid understanding of P&L concepts and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of results

  • Synthesizes information from disparate sources to deliver comprehensive and actionable insights

  • Partners and communicates effectively across functions and with upper levels of management

  • Self-starter, inquisitive and makes process improvement recommendations

  • Balances pressures and demands of multiple customers and competing priorities

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI knowledge is a plus.

  • SAP or other ERP system experience and knowledge

Requirements:

  • BA/BS with Major/Minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS Degrees with coursework up to and including Intermediate Accounting

  • Minimum of 4 years related work experience in Accounting/Finance

  • Working knowledge of financial concepts & principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, Economic Profit, etc.

  • Preferred: 1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment
