Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our location. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary role will be to manage and process customer credit applications while maintaining a high level of accuracy in customer records. You will also be tasked with handling customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications while ensuring accuracy
• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently
• Handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary
• Conduct account coding tasks as part of the job functions
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient management of accounts
• Leverage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing business processes
• Perform accounting functions in line with company standard procedures
• Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting
• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required
• Mastery of Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Experience with Concur is necessary
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial
• Ability to manage Accounting Functions effectively
• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is important
• Auditing skills are essential
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is beneficial
