Under the direction of the Contracts Manager, the Provider Specialist is
responsible for developing relationships with all homemaking & personal
care provider agencies (referral coordinators) & working with these
coordinators to facilitate the filling of pending service requests.
Duties & Responsibilities: Develop relationships with all provider
agencies (referral coordinators) & manage ordering & filling service
requests. Contact consumers on the waiting list to verify services are
still needed. Assists Provider Specialist enter provider \"takes\"
information into SAMS & run reports. Assists Provider Specialist enter
one day suspensions via provider notifications. Regular communication
with all provider coordinators regarding pending service needs. Assist
with sending the Pending Services report to providers a minimum of twice
weekly. Communicate availability concerns to the Contracts Manager.
Assist Contracts Manager by participating in projects as appropriate &
assigned. Assist Contracts Manager with Audits as needed. Assist Agency
with audits or occasional ad hoc projects that may require document
compilation Back up to reception as needed. Coordinate facility
maintenance with outside contractors Assumes additional Financial
Services responsibilities as needed. Skills & Abilities: Ability to
collaborate, take initiative, provide/ receive feedback. Ability to
establish strong & effective collaborative relationships. Excellent
computer skills required, including Microsoft Office. Ability to
professionally work independently & in a team. Experience with client
database; medical record system preferred. Ability to multi-task in a
busy office setting with time sensitive requests is required. Detail
oriented, strong organizational & time management skills. Valid MA
driver\'s license & car required Education, Licensure & Experience: 5
years\' administrative support experience required; non-profit setting
