This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

We are offering a \$5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus is paid out in \$2500 following completion of 90 days and \$2500 at completion of 180 days. *

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

In this role you will:

  • Perform maintenance of wastewater collection system of wastewater pre-treatment system.
  • Read and follow instructions and complete required paperwork.
  • Wear necessary safety equipment.
  • Work with hazardous chemicals.
  • Complete all required training for the job.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of team member including management.
  • Work with low supervision.
  • Learn to load and unload oil trucks.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Wastewater experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able and willing to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
  • Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facility, and occasionally work in unsanitary conditions.
  • Team Member will work in a cold, damp, to hot environment.
  • ALL Team Members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their work area.

Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance and willingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations.

You will qualify for this position if you have:

  • 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

*Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.
