Employees will be involved in most aspects of organic diversified
vegetable production: Field preparation, seeding, seedling maintenance
in greenhouses, transplanting, mechanical and manual cultivation,
pruning and trellising. Harvesting, washing and packing produce for
distribution. Fertility and sanitation management of blueberries and
fruit trees. Fruit harvest. Basic tractor operation. Set up and moving
of irrigation. Daily rotation of pastured poultry. Care and feeding of
laying hen flock and meat chicken groups. Egg collection, cleaning and
packing. On farm chicken processing (up to 8 total days of the season).
45-minute lunchbreak offered Crops: melons, mixed vegetables,
blueberries, fruit trees.
