Pay : $30-$35/hr
Location : San Francisco
Responsibilities
Organize and register tissue samples in inventory.
Apply appropriate labeling to tissue samples based on internal identification and type.
Archive stained slides and FFPE tissue blocks for future reference.
Coordinate with external vendors for regular shipment arrangements.
Assist with managing various tasks to support the Anatomic Pathology laboratory's human tissue panels, as needed.
Requirements
Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree with equivalent direct work experience of minimum two (2) years of in laboratory setting within hospital/pharma/biotech or CRO.
Proficiency in Labware Biorepository database, or similar tissue banking software
Prior experience in sample management
Prior experience in logistics
