Location: Southborough, MA
Responsibilities:
Overseeing due diligence
Management and oversight of investigation, assessment, and remediation of contaminated sites in accordance with regulations
Work collaboratively with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes
Provide mentorship and training to promote the professional development of staff members
Conduct site investigations to identify potential sources of contamination, evaluate risks, and develop remediation strategies
Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and permits during the remedial process
Maintain and broaden client contact and relationships, including pursuing business development opportunities with new, current, and prior clientele
Preparation and senior-level review of technical reports
Stay up to date with changes in environmental regulations and guidelines; and
Serve as point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline
Current Massachusetts LSP required
Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting due diligence and regulatory investigations and remediation
Documented experience managing environmental projects of various size and scope
Documented experience managing multi-functional teams, providing mentorship and development to junior level staff
Proficiency in communication and coordination with clients, regulatory officials, and other individuals
Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices
Previous experience in MA, CT, NY, VT, and NH preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and report review; and
Excellent personnel management and leadership abilities
