We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Maryland. This role involves acting as a legal advisor, managing and overseeing contracts, providing legal support on regulatory and compliance issues, identifying and resolving potential compliance risks and issues, supervising outside legal counsel, reviewing social media and marketing initiatives, and reviewing and revising policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a legal advisor to the organization, its Senior Leadership, and its client facilities related to their operations in the post-acute care industry.

• Handle the management and oversight of contracts for the organization and provide contracting support to its client facilities.

• Provide day-to-day legal support to client facility and Company leadership on a variety of regulatory and compliance issues.

• Respond to government/regulatory inquiries to provide information in a timely and accurate manner.

• Respond and provide guidance to client facilities on emergency issues and assist facility leadership to complete investigations into incidents that could result in litigation.

• Work with Chief Compliance Officer to identify and resolve potential compliance risks and issues.

• Supervise outside legal counsel on a variety of matters.

• Review and provide guidance to the organization and client facilities on social media and marketing initiatives.

• Review and revise organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney or Lawyer within the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• Proficiency in briefing, civil litigation, and civil litigation experience is required.

• Should have a deep understanding and experience in the healthcare industry.

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts is mandatory.

• Must have a strong background in compliance and regulatory matters relating to the healthcare sector.

• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Should be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Should be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Must possess a professional degree in law from a recognized university.

• Should have a valid legal license to practice law.

• Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector is highly desirable.

• Must be proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
