Position: Outbound Associate 1

Location: 2625 USA Parkway, Sparks, NV 89434

Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st 8AM to 4:30PM

We are excited to announce a job opening for the position of Outbound Associate 1 at Protective Industrial Products in Sparks, NV. You will play an integral role in our company by providing support to the daily operations of Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving activities. Working with the logistics team and warehouse staff, you will be responsible for validating, receiving, inventory and shipping duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Retrieve items from designated warehouse locations based on customer orders.

  • Ensure the accuracy of each picked item by verifying product codes and quantities.

  • Pack orders securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.

  • Arrange and coordinate shipments with carriers or logistics providers.

  • Perform quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet established standards.

  • Report and document any quality issues or discrepancies promptly.

  • Communicate with the warehouse team and relevant departments regarding inventory status.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including the safe operation of equipment.

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that outbound orders are processed and shipped according to customer specifications and delivery deadlines.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification is a plus).

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and safety procedures.

  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools (if required).

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
