| - Inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure |
| safety and functionality |
| - Adhere to all applicable requirements, including safety standards |
| and local codes |
| - Interpret diagrams, blueprints and other related drawings |
| - Inventory and properly track supplies, equipment, tools and |
| machinery |
| - Communicate with customers and coworkers effectively to promote |
| efficiency |
| - Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring |
| instruments and hand |
| - Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the |
| installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of |
| electrical systems and equipment. |
| - Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand |
| and power tools. |
| - Dig trenches or holes for installation of conduit or supports. |
| Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and |
| attach wires |
| - Raise, lower, or position equipment, tools, and materials, using |
| hoist, hand line, or block and tackle. |
| - Knowledge and experience of electrical systems related to HVAC. |

| ### Job Skills & Qualifications |
| |
| #### Required and not limited to: |
| |
| - Have a current, active 01 journeyman electrician license valid in |
| the state of Washington |
| - Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes |
| - Valid driver's license and clean driving record |
| - Ability to travel to job sites throughout Spokane and surrounding |
| cities/areas within Spokane County (may vary by work day and |
| project) |
| - Ability to read blueprints |
| - Must pass criminal background check and drug test |
| - Previous experience working on commercial electrical systems |
| - Dependable and hard-working |
| - Cooperate, guide/oversee, and get along with apprentices and |
| other employees |
| - Ability to follow strict safety precautions at all times and wear |
| proper personal protection equipment (PPE). |
| - Ability to work four, 10-hour days weekly. |

| ### Working Conditions: |
| |
| #### Includes, is not limited to: |
| |
- Identifying and separating wires by color. |
| - Digging trenches and working in trenches. Breaking concrete with |
| jackhammer or other tools. |
| - Lifting, positioning and fastening objects such as light |
| fixtures, wire, conduit, junction boxes, motors and other |
| equipment. |
| - Carrying material and tools from location to location or floor to |
| floor. Working from A-Frames, extension ladders and scaffolds at |
| various heights. |
| - Crawling under floors and working in attics where space is |
| limited. Working under hot and cold weather conditions, indoors |
| and outdoors. |
| - Lift Lifting and working with tools and |
| equipment above head. |

| Electricians' work is often strenuous. They may stand for |
| long periods and frequently work on ladders and |
| scaffolds. Their working environment varies, depending |
| on the type of job. Some may work in dusty, dirty, hot, or |
| wet conditions, or in confined areas, ditches, or other |
| uncomfortable places. Electricians risk injury from |
| electrical shock, falls, and cuts; to avoid injuries, they |
| must follow strict safety procedures. |
