Job Purpose/Summary
:
This highly strategic position is responsible for leading, building and
implementing holistic sales reporting and analytics for the Chicken
segment. As a key partner to the segment Head of Sales, you will drive
data-informed decisions and provide critical support to sales teams
during complex RFP negotiations. This role will also partner closely
with the Poultry CFO and other senior leaders across the enterprise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
Strategic Sales Analysis: Centralize Chicken segment weekly and
monthly sales/volume reporting, providing actionable insights to
drive growth.
Channel and SKU Expertise: Support the Commercial team with
robust channel/sku reporting to identify gaps to plan and optimize
execution.
Pricing Strategy Leadership: Lead a process to track pricing
exposure across the Chicken segment, directly informing strategic
decision-making and accurate forecasting.
Complex RFP Partnership: Play a pivotal role in RFP development
across the Chicken segment, collaborating with the Sales team to
determine pricing structures (e.g., fixed and market-based) and
secure winning bids. Support RFP tracking and management.
Value-Add Analytics: Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics
beyond pricing initiatives to address emerging business questions.
Requirements
:
Education
: bachelor\'s degree required (Accounting or Finance); MBA
preferred
Experience: 5 - 7 years of formal and or business application
experience preferred
Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written communication
skills; ability to translate complex data into insights for key
leadership at all levels.
Special Skills: strong analytical skills with the ability to
explain complex data in an effective manner; strong interpersonal
communication skills; creative and strategic thinker with
customer-centric mindset and ability to work independently in a
fast-paced environment; must be able to manage multiple tasks and
projects and influence other team members to achieve project and
timeline requirements; comfortable working with and alongside
executive leadership.
