Job Description Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple suppliers and acquire data required for master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.

  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.

  • Optimize supplier responsiveness and information flow to drive process improvements.

  • Leads analytical activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods, track performance and assist in supplier selection process.

  • Communicates across direct organization, specifically Customer Service, and supplier base.

  • Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on supplier capabilities, and how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.

  • Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.

  • Communicates across the function in area of expertise.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in materials planning and execution required.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to translate requirement to actions.

  • Proven communication skills – oral and written.

  • Documented computer usage skills across multiple applications.

  • Experience interfacing with external suppliers/customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to hold external suppliers/customers accountable and influence their behavior.

  • Proven knowledge of LEAN principles and ability to lead initiatives.

  • Experience coordinating several projects simultaneously.

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
