DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Maintenance Mechanic, Senior you will work on site at our facility in Springdale, PA. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader, the Senior Maintenance Mechanic will repair preventative maintenance on multiple plant equipment, including piping, pumps, mixing equipment, lab equipment, and more. You will be adept at pipe fitting, pump rebuilding, metal fabrication, rigging, welding, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems. You will also collaborate with internal customers, including lab techs, office staff, engineers, and operations employees.

Key Responsibilities * Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation systems. * Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, P&IDs, and sketches for maintenance tasks. * Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards in the work area, shop area, and utility areas. * Operate a forklift and multiple powered shop tools, including lathe, drill press, band saw, welding machine, cordless drills, and pipe threader. * Conduct basic rigging using chain falls, hoists, and straps. * Assemble and disassemble piping systems. * Troubleshoot multiple plant systems, such as steam, process, water, and vacuum. * Install pumps and valves using manuals. * Demonstrate professional basics, including responding to emails, and understanding production schedules. * Familiarity with common work orders and PMs, such as tightening gear pump packing, rounds, steam trace installations, and filter/belt replacements. * Meet with internal customers to review, layout, and install projects. * Provide contractor assistance, including orientation, permitting, and follow-up inspections of work.

Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Relevant technical certifications or trade school education. * 3+ years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities. * Understanding of facility-specific equipment, including RTO, Air Compressors, SCB, Well Water systems, HVAC systems, steam systems, fire protection systems, and electrical systems. * Knowledge of industrial equipment and systems. * Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
