What Commercial Strategic Engagement contributes to Cardinal Health
The Commercial Strategic Engagement organization supports client engagement and project management within the context of nationally held summit events. The Project Manager will assist in managing customer project deliverables, support the account management team with execution of initiatives, coordinate all aspects of assigned customer projects (includes planning, timing, and execution within the constraints of a budget, schedule, and scope) while minimizing risk, and adhering to established processes and methodologies.
Location - Fully remote (work from home), though targeting individuals within commutable distance of an airport (as this person must be willing and able to travel to Summit events 6-8 times per year, on average). Team is primarily located in Eastern or Central time zone areas, though open to individuals based elsewhere.
Responsibilities
Lead customer project management activities in relation to summit events (across four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology)
Travel to Summit events (typically spanning 1-3 nights) on average 6-8 times per year
Monitor the project scope ensuring the project meets the criteria as established in the SOW
Attend and lead internal and external project kick-off meetings (including any customer implementation and update meetings)
Ensure project execution is timely and meets customer expectations and established timelines
Work with internal operations team to develop and maintain work orders, project plans, and project chronologies
Monitor milestone progress against established project chronology and provide regular updates to account management team and customers
Define all customer requirements on assigned projects
Schedule and develop regular virtual project status meetings with customer
Work with internal team to ensure that all project closeout activities and reports are completed per the established project timelines
Upon completion of each project, partner with account management team and accounting to ensure final invoicing is completed in a timely manner
Monitor and update SOPs
Qualifications
Targeting individuals with a background of 2+ years in project management and customer service (experience in client event coordination, management or planning - a plus but not required)
Experience in therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology (which are the client areas of focus in this role) - a plus, but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills required (client facing experience a major plus), as this individual will be working cross-functionally (internally and externally)
Targeting a self-starter, go-getter, someone that stays organized and takes pride in maintaining a high level of attention to detail in communication with stakeholder
Digital marketing experience is considered a nice to have, though not required. Understanding of digital marketing capabilities and platforms (highly preferred).

Other administrative tasks as necessary including data entry and managing customer target lists
Ability to problem solve and remain calm in a stressful situation
Successfully multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
