Aerotek Machine Operator in Springfield, Massachusetts

JoDescription:

Aerotek is looking for Machine Operators in the Springfield area for an immediate job opening. This company manufactures screws and fasteners for roofing and construction use, and these Operators will be responsible for assisting in the machining process.

Tasks:

  • Running and maintaining an automated screw machine

  • Unloading and loading the machine with raw materials

  • Setting up machines before running

  • Inspecting finished product using micrometers and calipers

  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, coolant changes, and tooling changes during production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma

  • Pervious machine operation experience is preferred

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to follow written work instructions in English
