Residential Counselor - Relief The Residential Counselor plays a vital
role in the therapeutic support of young children and adolescents with
social, emotional, and behavioral health needs. Under the direction of
the Program Manager or designee, the Residential Counselor is
responsible for the direct care and support of the youth we serve, using
the Building Communities of Care (BCC) Trauma Informed Care model of
treatment. The Residential Counselor is responsible for directly
engaging the youth in daily activities, working in groups, and
implementing the daily routine. As a member of the interdisciplinary
treatment team, the Residential Counselor will collaborate with the
clinical staff to ensure the objectives of the individual treatment
plans are being met. Relief Western MA The Cottage Residential program
is an inclusive environment designed to support male clients (ages
6-13), regardless of how they identify, who have experienced trauma,
with moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges. Now
hiring for Saturday and Sunday shifts, from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Monday
through Friday shifts, from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. Qualifications High School
Diploma/GED/Equivalent; Associates degree preferred. Must be 21 years of
age or older. 1-2 years of experience working with children in a
residential or related program preferred. Successful completion of
CPR/First Aid certification during New Employee Orientation. Competitive
