Job Description
· Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repair of Mixer Trucks, Loaders, and other heavy equipment
· Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical, air conditioning, air brakes, computer diagnostics and basic welding
· Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders and diagrams in order to troubleshoot, repair and install equipment
· Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and scheduling
· Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI); troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment; ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components
· Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs
· Complete required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
Work under limited supervision using written or verbal instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks

Skills and Requirements
· 5 YOE in commercial vehicle mechanics (18 wheelers, buses, concrete mixer, ready-mix trucks)
Hydraulics, electrical, brakes, steering, engine diagnostics, suspension (preferred)
· Have their own full mechanic tool set (MUST be able to provide a photo of their tool set prior to or on their IP interview)
· Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
· Local (within 25 mile radius) to site
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check, DT, and clean driving record CDL License or ability to obtain
Ready-mix industry knowledge
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime null
