About the Role
Hams Hame is nestled beneath the iconic Hamilton Grand building, next to the 18th green of the world’s most famous golf course.
Hams Hame Pub & Grill is a fabulous venue offering outstanding Scottish cuisine that showcases the best ingredients in an informal setting, where you can also watch sport on TV. Hams Hame is also the perfect place to stop and sample the heart-warming selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate - perfect for a pre-match warmer or after a blast on West Sands Beach!
We have a fantastic opportunity within Hams Hame for Food and Beverage Casual Assistants to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities
Service
Exceed guests and members expectations through excellent and engaging service.
Anticipate guest needs.
Increase sales by upselling products and offers within Dukes.
Engage with members, golfers, locals, guests, and co-workers providing everyone with the same exceptional service.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Preparation
Follow good hygiene habits and report to work in correct and clean uniform.
Gain knowledge of all styles and sequences of service, become familiar with food and beverage areas for open and close.
Work closely with the supervisors and managers gaining as much experience through training and development.
Familiarize yourself with the composition of all dishes on the menu and be able to advise guests on a selection of food and beverage.
House Keeping
Always be efficient and courteous towards all guests and associates.
Be conversant with the hotel’s health and safety procedures, maintenance, systems, and policies.
Flexible to assist in other areas if required.
About You
You will be an enthusiastic, well presented, friendly and confident individual who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with a flexible approach. You will enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently. Ideally, you will behave previous service experience within hospitality or similar setting though not essential.
Salary
A flexible shift pattern is offered with a competitive hourly rate up to £12.36, depending on experience and a range of associate benefits.
Salary: £10.68- £12.36 per hour
