Role: Accounting Clerk
Pay: $24-27/hr
Location: St. Charles through the end of the year, then the company will be moving to Aurora, must be open to both locations. 100% onsite
Duration: 4+ month contract
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Friday
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
Process Customer Payments
Process Invoices & Credits
Customer Service: take phone payments, send copies of invoices, check balances, credit applications
Customer Statements, Collect on Past Due Accounts
Avalara-Sales Tax: reconcile transactions, approve returns
Accounts Payable
Invoice Data Entry – all non PO orders
Check/ACH Runs
Credit Card Management: dispute transactions, order replacement cards
Vendor Communication: update ACH information, send sales tax exemption, set up new vendors
Reconcile Bank Statements
Certificate of Insurance Requests
General Office
Sort Mail
Order Office Supplies
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of Accounting Experience
Micro Soft Office Experience: Excel, Word
Quick Learner
Strong Communication Skills
Critical Thinker
Ability to Multi-Task
Problem Solving Skills
Work Independently but also as a Team Player
Versatile/Cross Train for Back Up to Other Positions
