Overview Coborn's, Inc. is on the search for a talented HR professional to join our team and support our leaders and employees! As an HR Business Partner, your primary responsibility will be to act as a strategic partner to align business objectives with employees and management within locations throughout the St. Cloud geographic area. The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and, in the future, may provide leadership to other HR team members. In this role, you will act as employee champion and change agent, assess and anticipate HR-related needs, communicate needs proactively with our HR department and business management, and develop integrated solutions. The HRBP will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the division's financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition to aide in meeting Coborn's Vision, Mission and Core Values. In this role, you can anticipate to: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Provide day to day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions). Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to designated HR team within district in the ongoing execution of HR Essentials. Partner with Location Managers to proactively identify and track talent needs, develop and implement recruitment, and advertising strategies that will effectively place talent within the store. Provide guidance on employment terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers. Oversee and drive new store staffing strategies and all store new hire training/onboarding. Analyze metrics to identify staffing needs and develop and implement retention strategies. Identify training needs for division and individual leadership coaching needs. Create and facilitate training programs, presentations, and documented procedures to increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of all employees and leadership in compliance with company, state, or federal laws. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence as needed/required. Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Provide guidance and input on organizational restructures, workforce planning, and succe sion planning. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence to develop solutions, programs and policies. Partner with HR team on various project teams to drive achievement to "Be Remarkable" Requirements We're on the search for a candidate who: Education/Experience Has five to seven years Human Resource Generalist experience; Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (preferred) Computer Skills Has working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems. Has working knowledge of HRIS systems. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Possess a current state driver's license and valid insurance with the ability to travel to business locations as needed.
