Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code
45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as:
Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs;
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and
post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to
load carts and trailers; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles,
implements, and mechanical equipment such as working with hand and power
tools, light welding; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation
equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors,
tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily John Deere self-propelled
machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as cotton stripper,
tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate,
spray and harvest crops such as corn, cotton, milo, hay, wheat; Load
inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive
trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators,
bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and
landscaping; Regulate conditions; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer,
and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences,
and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into
planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh
containers and record weights and identifying information.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is
also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers,
from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up
points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and
