Youth Specialist -- Temporary/Part-Time
- $16.49/ Hour
- This part-time, temporary position allows for a maximum of 1,000 hours per calendar year. It does not include any benefits.
Duties:
- The Temporary Youth Specialist works as an on-call employee to fill temporary vacancies in the full-time Youth Specialist schedule.
- Participates in supervising and reporting on programs.
- This position transports youth of all security classifications throughout the state, and outside of the state, picking up youth and delivering them to various locations such as courts, placements, medical centers and specialized appointments.

Education and Experience:
- Thirty semester or forty-five quarter hours of college education, which includes three semester or four quarter hours of psychology.
- A combination of qualifying experience and training may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
- The Court reserves the right to make the final judgment about what constitutes an appropriate combination of education, experience and training by an applicant.
